About Us

Chelmsford Tutors is a locally-based home tuition provider established for over 30 years. Formerly known as Saeberht Tutors, one-to-one tuition is offered in most subjects from primary through to GCSE, A level and adult. Some tutors can also assist with undergraduate studies. Tutors are based in Chelmsford and surrounding villages and towns.

The aim is to provide a personal service, speaking to clients if possible, so that they can be matched with the most appropriate tutor for their needs. All tutors have had DBS checks which are not older than one year and will have had independent references and provided proof of qualifications in addition to being interviewed before acceptance. Chelmsford Tutors was one of the first members of The Tutors’ Association which was formed in 2013 to provide the highest standards in the tutoring industry. All our tutors must sign up to the Tutors’ Association Code of Ethics.
